This is easily the best restaurant in Rockford and one of the best I've been to in quite some time, period. Their cocktails are wonderful, service is on-point, and the ambiance is very intimate (perfect for date night or special occasions). Cheese curds are incredible, tuna crudo is very good, the "fancy potato" was outstanding, and dessert couldn't have been better (the molten chocolate cake is decadent, and their floating meringue blew our minds). Dining here was an unexpected delight; I would highly recommend Abreo to practically anyone. 5's all around.
Adam provided excellent service. The curry scallop dish was the best scallop I've ever eaten. The warm chocolate cake was perfect. We enjoyed all of our dishes and will go back as the menu changes. I also love that the back of the house gets 5% of the tip.
Our first time dining at Abreo was during Rockford’s Restaurant Week, and it exceeded expectations. The food and presentation were phenomenal—we can’t wait to come back.
Always have the most fresh & delicious food. New and creative dishes everywhere. Love the indoor atmosphere and when the weather is nice the outdoor patio is awesome for a light dinner and a glass of wine or cocktail. Staff is very friendly and attentive. You can tell they put a lot of joy into giving the customers a wonderful dining experience !
A positive experience. Dev greeted me as I sat at the bar. Lighting was perfect not to dark like some other finer places but still low enough for setting the mood. I had the asparagus pasta and duck plates. Both had exquisite sauces. Ended with the molten chocolate cake with evaporated milk!! All of it had my taste buds dancing. Highly recommend.
Fantastic overall experience. The flavors were fun and unique. Cocktails, shareable dishes and desserts were all delicious. We can't wait to go back and try more new things.

Delicious and beautiful presentations all around! Highly recommend going here for special occasions for intimate gatherings. Service was A+ and the quality of all of our menu items are immaculate. We love that they source menu items locally as well!
So many great things to say! We randomly stopped in for the Wednesday Night Dive Bar Music Series. It was very busy and, allthough we did not have a reservation, we counted ourselves lucky that they found us a table. We learned from our amazingly attentive server that the restaurant is farm-to-table. So, the menu is ever-changing. We tried several small plates including the standouts of the night - Shrimp Asiago, Beef Tenderloin Skewers, and Duck. We also split one of the dive bar smash burgers, which was fantastic! The food was delivered to our table in waves, at just the right pace. For dessert, we sampled each menu item, and honestly, I hope they never change the selection. The Creme Brulee, Chocolate Cake and Passionfruit Cloud were all to die for! The music was great (special shout out to Emilio Salinas), the lights were low and the vibes were fantastic. Everyone there was well-fed, well-served and enjoying their evening. At the end of our meal, the owner/chef, Paul, visited our table to check in and introduce himself. He was very friendly, and it was the perfect way to cap-off our lovely experience. If you go, I definitely recommend a reservation.
Sooo I started with a close friend, Trying out Rockford Restaurant that We never experience. Sooo Abreo was thee 2nd Place on Our list to check out the VIBE. The Ambiance was Very Cozy and Dim, Sophisticated, very clean and the bathroom was very Elegant I would say. We started out with The Apple Salad, followed by Rice Nuggs and lastly Chicken Crepes and the Goat cheese Spring Rolls. All was small plated but very filling and most definitely worth the experience. I truly enjoyed it and will be back again. Hidden Gem in Rockford for sure. Oh let me not forget the cocktails we had The L. V, soo refreshing and I had a nice buzzz off it too. Peace and Love KIM💕
